We were thrilled to visit Dalton School earlier this week to congratulate Maizie, aged 4, on winning our 'Errisaurus' Colouring Competition!
All nursery and reception pupils at the school were encouraged to use their imagination and colour in an ‘Errisaurus’ in the fun competition.
Well over 50 fantastic entries were received but it was Maizie’s ‘Chase the Colourful Dino’ Errisaurus which was named the overall winner.
In addition to receiving book vouchers worth £20, Maizie will have the honour of seeing her winning drawing on display in our new Bramham show home at Rosemeade, Almondbury.
Class teacher Miss Stoker said: “Maizie is a very creative young girl and her talent has really shone through in this competition. Winning has made her day and will do wonders for her confidence. We are all extremely grateful to Erris Homes for organising the competition which all the children have loved taking part in.”
Erris Homes have previously donated a Wendy House to the school for use as a reading cottage and have also sponsored a new kit for Horbury Town Under 7’s football team as part of our Community Support Programme.
